Local Realtor was honored in the Florida Association of Realtors 2005 Sales Associate Web Site Contest, sponsored by Florida RealtorFlorida Real Estate Headlines.

Debra Pitell, a broker-Realtor with Michael Saunders & Co. won 1st place in the competition with her Web site, www.SarasotaHomes4Sale.com.

Top national real estate experts determined that Pitell's site was the best in the state for its content, value to the consumer, ease of use and mechanisms for lead generation.

Pitell generated more than $20 million in sales in the first eight months of 2005. Her site was designed by Debbie Zaroba of Marketing & Design Services. The winners will be featured in "The Real Estate Solutions Guide 2006," a special supplement to the November 2005 issue of Florida Realtor magazine.
